Back when I was switching to Cruelty free, one of the hardest finds for me was hair care. I have thick, frizzy, unruly at times and hard to maintain hair, so you can understand why it was hard for me to find Cruelty free hair care products that really worked.

After trying out a bunch of different Cruelty free brands, I definitely have some favorites now. One of my top favorite brands was Broo shampoo, but sadly they are closing down their store. 🙁 Everyone’s hair is so different and I can understand why it is necessary to find the right product that works for you.

So, I took it upon myself to do some research, and created this handy list of Cruelty free hair care brands. This list includes an exhaustive list of both affordable and mid/high-end brands along with a few eco-friendly options.

ABOUT THIS LIST

Each brand on the #EthicalPixieApproved List has been carefully vetted and researched on brand’s Cruelty free policies to ensure it’s fully Cruelty-free.

  1. Great article! I always have, Not Your Mother’s and Kevin Murphy in my shower. NYM is my every day S&C but when I actually blow dry my hair, I use my fancy pants Kevin Murphy and all his styling products. I didn’t know, Dry Bar was cruelty free! I’ll have to try some of their products.
