Are you saying hair styling tools like Straightener, Curler, Dryer etc. are tested on animals as well!? Not really, while a curling iron or a hair dryer itself is not going to be tested on animals(“hopefully”), it could be manufactured by a brand that’s NOT Cruelty free (Ex: Revlon, CHI etc.). Technically this curling iron is a cruelty-free product, while the brand probably isn’t. Why support brands that test on animals when you have so many Cruelty free brands that now carry hair styling tools.
When I was looking to invest in a decent quality hair straightener, I had to research a ton to find a good one made by a cruelty free brand. So to make shopping easier for you, I went ahead and created this list of brands you can shop from while buying any of your hair tools.
ABOUT THIS LIST
Each brand on #EthicalPixieApproved List has been carefully vetted and researched on brand’s Cruelty free policies to ensure it’s fully Cruelty-free.
Ethical Pixie Approved List:
All the brands listed below are Ethical Pixie Approved. What does it mean?
- All the brands listed below are Cruelty-free!
- The brand’s final Product or individual ingredients haven’t been tested on animals.

LIST OF BRANDS:
- AGAVE OIL

BRANDS THAT TEST ON ANIMALS:
The below popular brands are NOT Crueltyfree! So, they are NOT ❌Crueltyfree❌. Keep in mind, this is not a complete list of hair care brands that test on animals. These are just SOME of the brands to avoid.
