The phrase “Does not test on animals” or “Not tested on animals” doesn’t really mean much.  Infact, this statement tells us that the brand is trying to falsely state that they are Cruelty-free.

Regardless of where the products are manufactured, products are still subjected to mandatory POST MARKET testing on animals where cosmetic products can be chosen at random and removed from shelves for “confirmatory” animal testing to ensure that the product on sale to customers is same as formulation approved for sale.

In addition, Galderma Laboratories is a Pharmaceutical company and Pharmarceutical companies require mandatory testing on animals. Hence, Galderma Laboratories is NOT Cruelty free.
